The Feathered Nest Home

Well we are going to give this blogging a shot. I am very technically challenged as many of you know. Please bear with me as I try to figure al this out. Today was stressful to say the least,trying to get things on Facebook,this blog...very scary to be quite honest with you. But I think it will be fun once I get the hang of it. Lord only knows that I do love to talk. That's probably putting it mildly. This blog is going to be about my daily life ,my business The Feathered Nest and just some random ramblings. Just a little bit about me...I have been selling primitive antiques since 1996. About a year ago I got into a big rut and was totally burned out. My taste were changing and I wanted to take my business in a different direction. So I went to California to see my son's homecoming from Afghanistan and I did some serious soul searching and praying. I asked God to show me what to do. Do I quit and get a "real" job or do I take a risk and change things up in my business. god lead me in the direction to change and since then I can't believe the opportunities he has given me and how many different doors have opened for me. I have been blessed with a renewed passion and been more creative than I had been in a long time. And for that I am truly grateful. My husband has once again been taking a huge interest in my business and we have had so much fun "junkin" together again. I changed my name to The Feathered Nest and took a big leap of faith! I look forward to sharing some great goodies with you and sharing a part of my life with you all. Let the fun begin! Have a great night and we'll talk again soon.
